Гендерные различия социально-коммуникативных навыков и эмоциональных реакций при расстройствах аутистического спектра

Согласно современным эпидемиологическим данным, у лиц мужского пола расстройства аутистического спектра (РАС) наблюдаются в 4 раза чаще, чем у женщин. Все больше исследований, сосредоточенных на изучении РАС в женской популяции, ставит под сомнение предположение о гендерной инвариабельности аутистических расстройств. Клинические наблюдения показывают, что женщины с РАС демонстрируют лучшие социальнокоммуникативные навыки и эмоциональные реакции, чем мужчины с аутистическими расстройствами, что может маскировать другие проявления расстройства. Это объясняет более редкую диагностику РАС у лиц женского пола.
