В обзоре приведено разъяснение ряда основополагающих судебных дел, внесших вклад в разработку правила Мак-Натена. Также приводится описание того влияния, которое оказал этот подход к определению невменяемости в англоязычных странах. Особое внимание уделяется его развитию в США и Канаде.
