We offer you a new issue of the Russian Journal of Psychiatry (2024, No. 5) dedicated to the scientific and practical conference with international participation "Integration of Neuroscience and clinical practice: current trends in the field of mental health", held in Ryazan on September 26-27, 2024. The issue contains reports on various aspects of forensic, biological and social psychiatry. Special attention is paid to psychological research in psychiatry and the problem of alcoholism and drug addiction. Of particular interest to readers may be an article devoted to the main pathophysiological mechanisms of Alzheimer's disease and existing chemical translational models of Alzheimer's disease, which are crucial for understanding the pathogenesis of the disease and evaluating the potential of new therapeutic approaches. A detailed report and resolution of the scientific and practical conference "Integration of neuroscience and clinical practice: current trends in the field of mental health" have been published in open access for all readers.
