We offer you a new issue of the Russian Journal of Psychiatry (2024, No. 4). The issue contains reports on various aspects of social, biological psychiatry, epidemiological and psychological research in psychiatry. Special attention is paid to the prevention of suicidal behavior: the main characteristics of suicidal behavior of minors are discussed, taking into account the data of standardized monitoring of self-harming behavior; a step-by-step regression model for predicting the risk of suicidal behavior in schizophrenia based on the analysis of clinical and demographic variables is presented. Of particular interest to readers may be articles on the neurobiological and pathogenetic functions of neuroinflammation in post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), as well as modern psychotherapeutic approaches to the treatment of stress disorders.
