Abstract

In this scientific review, pursuing the objective of analysis, we consider the main principles of the clinical-psychological forensic expert science. The principle of comparative expert studies explains how fundamental sciences are transformed into the system of specialist knowledge in the field of forensic science. The principle of dialectical unity of integration and differentiation of forensic expert sciences is exercised through the study of the legal criteria, jointly carried out by psychiatrists and psychologists, and through delimitation of psychopathological or psychological factors which affect the legally significant capacities of forensic examinees. The principle of ratifiability determines the practical interaction of experts with the agencies which order forensic assessments. We have identified the regular pattern of the multi-subject interdisciplinary formation of specialist psychological knowledge within the framework of forensic examination.

Keywords forensic expert science; combined psychological and psychiatric assessment; experts' specialized knowledge
