Abstract

In this observational, descriptive complex systematic study aimed at clarifying the nature of the phenomenon of increased irritability, based on multidimensional psychophysiological data, patients with non-psychotic mental disorders were examined using clinical, clinical-psychological and clinical-psychophysiological methods. Personality features, emotional reactivity and neurodynamics were studied in 89 patients, aged 18 to 65, suffering from affective, neurotic, stress-related and somatoform disorders. A complex of pre-dispositional personal characteristics was found, reflecting the vulnerability of the barrier of mental adaptation and the weakness of various parts of the constitutional structure, which can manifest itself in decreased stress resilience of patients.

Keywords non-psychotic mental disorders; increased irritability; complex system research; barrier of mental adaptation; stress resistance; personalized correction and prevention
