The rate of suicide among minors in Russia

Abstract

First is conducted analysis of the rate of suicides in Russia among minors (0-17 years). The material of the research were specially prepared data of state statistics for 2015. It was found that the suicide rate among minors is 2.4 per 100 000 persons of this age. The most unfavorable situation is in Siberia, in Far East, as well as in the national communities with indigenous people belonging to the Finno-Ugric, Mongolian ethnic groups, to the Siberian branch of the Turkic groups and minorities of the North. In the 12 subjects of the RF rate of suicides exceeds the Russian level 2-13 times. It is made the conclusion about the need for a suicide help system for minors.
