The paper provides a comprehensive review of the efficacy of different types of pharmacotherapy. The identified socio-demographic characteristics and clinical profiles of patients who have achieved remission and suboptimal responses (response, partial response and nonresponse) will enable predictions to be made about the efficacy of treatment already at the stage of treatment planning while optimizing the ongoing treatment early on.
