Dynamics of social and clinical profiles of psychiatric patients with a history of socially dangerous acts

The paper examines the dynamics of socially dangerous acts committed by psychiatric patients in different social periods. Reviewed are all cases of psychiatric patients in the Chuvash Republic who underwent outpatient forensic psychiatric examination in 1998 and 2008. Social and clinical characteristics of psychiatric patients that contributed to commission of illegal acts are explored. Particular emphasis is given to clinical structure of mental disorders and the nature of socially dangerous acts committed by psychiatric patients.
