Clinico-social profiles and forensic-psychiatric evaluation of the mental state of women with a history of aggressive-violent acts against personality

Reviewed in the paper are clinical and psychopathological features of mental disorders of different nosologic identity in women who have committed aggressive criminal acts against a person and their impact on the nature of wrongdoing. Identified are mechanisms underlying the commission of an aggressive act. Also explored are the nature and focus of criminal acts committed by mentally sane women and those with different mental pathology. A comparative analysis is presented of social factors contributing to the commission of a criminal offence by women.
