Clinical and social consequences of occupational stress

Abstract

In a scientific review to study the problem of occupational stress, presents data on its prevalence in Russia and abroad. Psychosocial risks that are factors contributing to the development of stress in the workplace are noted. The data on the effect of occupational stress on the mental and physical health of a person are presented. The results of foreign studies on the effects of professional burnout as a result of prolonged exposure to stress in the workplace are described. A brief description of preventive measures to work with professional stress is presented.
