In this original study, pursuing the objective of giving the prognosis for immediate future, we have studied the disability caused by mental disorders and behavioral disorders in the Russian Federation for the years 2009–2018. We submit the results of the analysis of the indicators of dynamics, structure, and the groups of disability; we also consider the regional aspect. We used the retrospective data to calculate the prognostic indicators for the proximate future. We have identified the wave-like descending trend of annual indicators of disability due to mental disorders. We have established that the number of disabled children grows at a fast pace.
