Moscow Research Institute of Psychiatry: maintaining and developing traditions

Abstract

In this review, pursuing the objective of summing up the main areas of work, we submit the description of the activity of the Moscow Research Institute of Psychiatry – Branch of the V. Serbsky National Medical Research Centre for Psychiatry and Narcology of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation. The staff of the Institute, in line with the traditions established by their predecessors, fruitfully develop the areas of research in the field of psychiatry. The current activity of the Institute is linked to implementing the obligatory program officially assigned by the State for the scientific research topics and the therapeutic and preventative activities that need to be carried out.
