Relevant for criminal law psychic disorders in juvenile offenders: organic psychic disorders

The review deals with problem issues of analysis, diagnostics and forensic expert evaluation of relevant for criminal law organic psychic disorders in juvenile offenders in the framework of the forensic psychiatric-psychological expertise. The material of the empirical study of 100 juveniles with different kinds of organic psychic disorder in application to the legal categories “responsibility”, “non-responsibility”, “diminished responsibility” is presented. Psychopathological syndromes and nosological forms especially significant for forensic practice are singled out; criteria of their differential evaluation are described. Special attention is paid to the inter-disciplinary interaction of psychiatrists and psychologists by solving forensic problems, in particular, of differentiation between anomalous variants of personality immaturity due to organic causes and normative for adolescence form.
