95 years in the forefront of forensic psychiatry

The report presents a brief historical overview of the founding and development of the federal state budgetary institution V. Serbsky Federal Medical Research Center for Psychiatry and Narcology of the Ministry of Health of Russia. There is a description of its current status and outlines the prospects for development given in this article. It is shown how for 95 years the institution has evolved from a small specialized hospital to a major research center of an international level
