Based on a retrospective uncontrolled study, we have studied the structure of mental disorders in patients with focal organic brain diseases of various genesis with speech pathology. The study was done for the first time between 2010 and 2015 in accordance with the ICD-10 criteria. It was established that cognitive disorders of various quality and severity occur in 100% of patients; with predominantly mild cognitive disorders, that do not reach the degree of dementia. Non-psychotic mental disorders have been detected in 76.9% of patients. Among them, the prevalence of the organic affective disorder (organic depression) has been found. The obtained data allow to develop the differentiated approaches to psychopharmacological correction of mental disorders in patients with this pathology at the stage of neurorehabilitation.
