The original study presents the results of a one-time medical service quality satisfaction survey of 106 parents of children with autistic spectrum disorders, carried out for purposes of further development of a medical support algorithm for such children. Customers mostly report their dissatisfaction with the medical services and skills of healthcare providers in managing patients with autistic spectrum disorders. The type of a healthcare facility (government vs. private) has not exerted any influence on the rate. More than half of all respondents consider additional education in managing children necessary for healthcare providers.
