This scientific review, pursuing the objective of summarizing the information on the organic personality disorder in forensic-psychiatric population of women, submits the analysis of data obtained by Russian and foreign researchers, pertaining to the study of the organic personality disorder, as well as the impact of gender on its specific clinical features, dynamic course overtime, and prognosis for the outcome of the disorder. We submit data on the impact made by social factors on the formation of the organic personality disorder and its role in the emergence of offending behavior in women. Furthermore, we submit data on the significance of concomitant somatic, neurological, endocrine pathology, and the toxicity factor for these individuals, including the specific features observed in women. For purposes of writing this scientific review, we had analyzed 327 reference sources, 60 of which have been included in this work.
