Abstract

The paper reviews the clinical and social risk factors of neonaticide with a focus on the heterogeneity of the group studied and the difference between the available clinical and criminological data. Two neonaticide groups were identified, each corresponding to clinical or criminological characteristics. General salient features and discrepancies between the groups are outlined.
