In an empirical study to identify clinical and electroencephalographic differences in patients with alcoholism, depending on the duration of remission, 60 people were examined. Clinical data were obtained using the Hamilton Scale for assessing the severity of anxiety symptoms in patients (HARS) and the General Clinical Impression Scale for assessing the severity of the disease (CGI-s). The values of the spectral power of the electroencephalogram at rest were used as electroencephalographic data. It was found that patients with unstable alcohol remission, compared to patients with stable alcohol remission, had higher rates of anxiety and disease severity, as well as lower values of theta and alpha rhythm.
