In this original empirical study pursuing the objective of studying the formation of the psycho-organic syndrome and the clinical features of the long-term consequences of intoxication mental disorders in those who worked with asymmetric dimethylhydrazine (NDMG), which is one of the components of rocket fuel, 65 men with non-psychotic mental disorders who previously worked at chemical enterprises and had constant contact with NDMG were examined. The clinical picture and dynamics of the development of the psycho-organic syndrome are considered. The features and cause-and-effect relationships of the development of the psycho-organic syndrome have been established, depending on the length of work and the degree of contact with NDMG. Diagnosis of non-psychotic mental disorders in persons working at special chemistry facilities is necessary for early diagnosis of occupational intoxications and occupational pathology.
