Abstract

In the scientific review, in order to find ways to solve the problem of a combination of mental disorders of the schizophrenic spectrum and HIV, a strategy to counteract the increased risk of HIV infection is analyzed. Low commitment to medical care, insufficient social support, propensity of this category of patients to unpredictable behavior, therapy of mental disorders of the schizophrenic spectrum with HIV co-infection/AIDS requires special attention and interdisciplinary interactions. The existing problem of antipsychotic therapy of this category of patients receiving antiretroviral therapy, the fragmentation and fragmentary information about it, the lack of differentiation of the combination of HIV infection with endogenous mental disorder without concomitant substance abuse requires its careful study and resolution.

Keywords mental disorders of the schizophrenic spectrum; combined with HIV infections; the state strategy for countering the development of HIV; problems of antiretroviral and antipsychotic therapy
