We offer you a new issue of the Russian Journal of Psychiatry (2025, No. 3). The issue contains reports on various aspects of forensic and biological psychiatry, the problem of alcoholism and drug addiction, and psychological research in psychiatry. Special attention is paid to child and adolescent psychiatry: the results of an analysis of the stages of formation of the child psychiatric service, taking into account the epidemiology of mental illness, are presented.; The analysis of the frequency of non-suicidal self-harm (NSSP) among adolescent girls aged 12-17 years hospitalized in a psychiatric hospital was carried out; variants of anxiety-phobic pathology in children with autism spectrum disorders living under conditions of chronic psychosocial stress were considered. Of particular interest to readers may be an article devoted to the search for genome-wide associations with alcohol dependence syndrome and alcohol abuse.
