В научном обзоре с целью ознакомления специалистов с возможностями использования айтрекинга в выявлении и количественной оценке нарушений социального внимания в процессе диагностики расстройств аутистического спектра рассматриваются данные современных научных публикаций, касающихся теоретических основ использования метода, и основные имеющиеся на данный момент результаты айтрекинг-исследований у детей и взрослых с аутизмом. Айтрекинг даёт возможность оценивать в эксперименте уровень внимания человека к объектам социального характера, исследовать стратегии визуального мониторирования предъявляемых изображений и может стать вспомогательным инструментом ранней диагностики расстройств аутистического спектра и оценки эффективности абилитации лиц с такими нарушениями.
