Депрессивные расстройства как фактор риска развития поздних деменций

В научном обзоре с целью уточнения влияния и прогностического значения депрессивных состояний и расстройств на возникновение и развитие деменций позднего возраста проведён анализ литературных данных, позволяющих предполагать органическую природу наблюдаемых аффективных нарушений. Высказано предположение, что начальные формы органического поражения головного мозга связаны со структурными изменениями, аналогичными таковым при возрастных нейродегенеративных заболеваниях. В результате исследования литературных данных выдвинута гипотеза о возможной положительной роли антидепрессивной терапии при профилактике поздних деменций.
