This analytical review is devoted to the analysis of modern programs for the prevention of suicidal behavior in various countries of the world, with an emphasis on an interdisciplinary approach and the need to take into account cultural, social and psychological characteristics in their development. Both national and local programs implemented in developed and developing countries, including the USA, Canada, European countries (Germany, Finland, Greece), Australia, Japan, Brazil, as well as African and Latin American countries, are considered. Special attention is paid to the use of digital technologies, such as telepsychiatry, online consultations, mobile applications and artificial intelligence, to overcome geographical and social barriers to access to psychological care. This article presents the key areas of preventive work: training specialists and the public, early detection of risk, organization of hotlines, restriction of access to means of committing suicide, rehabilitation after the crisis, combating the stigma of mental illness and the development of support systems. The importance of taking into account the targets of psychotherapeutic influence, especially the value-semantic sphere of personality, when planning measures for the psychoprophylaxis of suicidality is substantiated. An analysis of various regional prevention programs shows the need to combine clinical, social, and meaning-based approaches to psychological work. This approach makes it possible to increase the targeting and effectiveness of prevention, providing a more holistic understanding of the causes of the suicide crisis and the possibilities of overcoming it.
