Delusional disorders: premorbid and structural characteristics, forensic psychiatric evaluation

The paper presents the results of a clinical study of 50 patients with delusional disorder (IDC-10 diagnostic code F22; DSM–V diagnostic code 297.1 ), who were accused of having committed socially dangerous acts against life and health of the individual. Reviewed are premorbid characteristics, structure of the examined subjecs’ disease state, mechanism of illegal actions and criteria for forensic evaluation of a given disorder.
