В научном обзоре с целью раскрытия механизмов, лежащих в основе формирования интенции, направленности на совершение конкретного действия, показано, что развитие мышления и связанных с ним особенностей принятия решения глубоко укоренено в механизмах движения и способах взаимодействия с окружающим миром. Приводятся результаты исследований, свидетельствующих, что возникновение намерения, интенции на совершение действия отражается в частичной активации нейронных механизмов, отвечающих за реализацию поведения. Рассматривается понятие «аффорданса» как характеристики среды, способствующей возникновению интенции. Раскрывается роль эмоций и сознания в возникновении намерения на совершение действия.
